Indianapolis Colts Updated Mock Draft 4/22/2011



Only one week till the Draft. Here my updated insight into the Colts Draft.


Round 1:   Nate Solder OT Colorado 6'8 320  (no change)

I still would love this pick. If Nate is still on board when the Colts pick.
2nd choice would be  Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin 6'7 315

 Round 2:  Change to Drake Nevis DT LSU
 Previous choice  Davon House CB New Mexico State  6'1 200   4.32 in the 40

Round 3:   James Brewer OT Indiana 6'6 325 or Stefen Wisniewski C Penn State

Round 4:   Curtis Marsh CB Utah State 6'1 200 or Marcus Gilbert Offensive Tackle Florida.

Round 5:   Ian Williams DT Notre Dame 6'1  320 or Brian Rolle OL Ohio State

Round 6:   Keith Williams  OG Nebraska 6'4 320 or Ryan Hill CB Miami FL

Round 7Brandon Bair DE Oregon or Zach Williams OG Washington State

Indianapolis Colts 2011 Mock Draft


 

Draft needs for the Colts are obvious. Offense and Defense linemen. Need depth on defense.
Here is an insight of how the Colts draft may playout.

Round 1:   Nate Solder OT Colorado 6'8 320

                   I would love this pick. If Nate is still on board when the Colts pick.

                   Derek Sherrod OT Mississippi State 6'5 325
                   Mike Pouncy OG  Florida 6'5 300

Round 2:   Davon House CB New Mexico State  6'1 200   4.32 in the 40

                 Davon would be a great help to the secondary. Good value in the second round.

                 Possible picks 
                 Benjamin Ijalana OG Villanova 6"4 320 
                 Rahim Moore  FS  UCLA 6'  200

Round 3:   James Brewer OT Indiana 6'6 325

                 James would add depth to the offensive line.
                 Possible picks
                 Quan Sturdivant ILB North Carolina 6'1 240
                 DeAndre McDaniel SS Clemson 6'  220

Round 4:   Curtis Marsh CB Utah State 6'1 200

                 Curtis is one of the top 7 cornerbacks in the draft.

                 Chris Culliver FS South Carolina 6' 200

Round 5:   Ian Williams DT Notre Dame 6'1  320

                 Ian had a fantastic senior year. Would help this defense.

                 Keith would provide help as the season goes on.
